Here is the ceiling of the main area and the main, central atrium, showing all the floors rising up around it.
Can you imagine shopping there.....instead of Macy's.
The fashion show was great. Of course, they did not let us take pictures. The fashions, tho not couture designer dresses, were still fabulous, extremely fashionable and the models were everything you would expect to see in a Paris model.
Afterwards I went to the floor that had the real couture deign from the famous designers. I managed to get a few shots, without being kicked out.....just some dirty looks.
I'll bet this looks dynamite on an actual body....with actual curves.
Weird silhouette and proportion....don't you think?
Is this jacket hot or what!!
Wow, Mo - the dept. store makes me think of a cruise ship - so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe pale green gown is so graceful and beautiful. I remember clearly the Galeries Lafayette and its jeweled dome and dazzling arches. I'm so happy you were able to wander amongst such lavish surroundings. More adventures to come!
